ABB is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner for its Ozark, Arkansas location. As a core member of the plant Business Team, provide HRsupport to employees and managers to ensure effective and sustainable workplace relations and performance; applyHR policies defined by Group Centers of Expertise, including on Employee Relations as defined in each country by Country HR. Ensures local, state and federal employment statutory compliance. Provides HR strategic support to help ABB Ozark remain a union-free location. Tasks: Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: o Strategy Alignment - Implement HR priorities in the organization in line with ABB global HR strategy, covering culture, people, and organization utilizing the existing HR solution portfolio or working to provide new solutions where appropriate. o HR Solutions - Partner with managers and employees in the Ozark plant to understand current issues that can be supported or resolved through HR practices, processes, or policies. Counsel managers and employees on the most effective solutions to resolve issues. Acts as consultant, partner, coach, and facilitator to business leaders. o Culture - Support and maintain a union-free culture while also supporting efforts of continuous improvement. o Performance Management - Support management to implement and follow up performance management activities on the site, including performance improvement, PDA discussion, training need identification, termination, etc. o Integrated Talent - Works closely with Talent Partners to ensure a sustainable talent pipeline considering internal talent pool and external market. Drives and assists in the execution of all talent processes with plant management such as identification and succession planning on business-critical positions, diversity/inclusion and talent outcomes. Where appropriate is directly involved in the recruitment of peer level positions. o Learning & Development - Partner with business leaders to understand and identify learning requirements for both individuals and critical populations at a local level and works with local management and COE support functions to decide appropriate learning strategies and programs to meet the needs identified. o Retention and Engagement - Monitors employee turnover data and put measures in place to support achievement of optimal levels of attrition across the site. Assess employee engagement and morale and take actions to address issues. o Employee Relations - Works to build partnerships between employees and management. Day-to-day HR contact with all employees, including employee assistance, issue and concern redressal, and disciplinary process support for management. Conducts training and communication on HR strategy, policy, and processes when necessary. Advise and communicate with business leaders, relevant HR stakeholders and the Legal function regarding requirements in employee relations, forthcoming legislation, etc. o Standards and Governance - Implement and ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, policies and processes related to operations/project execution. Share and develop best practices across the wider HR community. o HR Process Implementation - Oversee implementation of HR processes at the location, ensuring compliance with Group policy and guidelines. Requirements: Basic Qualifications: o Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience in a union-free manufacturing environment highly desired. Preferred Qualifications: o Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and minimum 8 years of Human Resources experience in a union-free manufacturing environment highly desired. Those who meet all other requirements with demonstrated experience in the field will be considered. o Management and/or previous supervisory experience required. o Individual must be creative, flexible and highly self-motivated. o Strong leadership, solid people skills and outstanding verbal and written communications capabilities are required. o Strong Microsoft Office/computer skills and previous BUS/ SAP experience preferred. o Working knowledge of Federal, State and Local laws/regulations related to employment. o Experience conducting internal investigations and complaints such as ethics or integrity reports, DOL/EEOC complaints or other situations that involve investigation processes. o Experience in a complex organization with a fast-paced environment. o Limited travel as needed. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
